Whitebirch Handmade Goods began while at home on maternity leave in Golden, BC. After making a pair of earrings for herself, she received tons of compliments and lots of interest and encouragement from friends and family. From there, she decided to start an Etsy shop. The earrings quickly became very popular and she had a pair featured in Chatelaine magazine in her first year! She received great feedback with the first style, and soon was getting requests for different styles. The collection has now grown and some of the styles have been directly influenced by customers!

As a small-town girl, she's always preferred to shop small and is committed to having a small footprint on the planet. Keeping it as local and sustainable as possible, most White Birch Handmade Good products are made in small batches from genuine leather remnants sourced as close to home as possible.
