Katye had graduated with a diploma in Radio & Television Broadcast from Toronto. Subsequently, she embarked on a journey of exploration across the globe. Having spent time in Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, and several regions in Africa and Central America, the exquisite and distinctive jewelry of diverse cultures left a lasting impact on her. This profound inspiration became a lifelong source of creative drive.

Once settled in Ottawa, Katye's path took a new direction during her maternity leave, as she unearthed her latent talent for crafting jewelry. Through word of mouth, her creations gained rapid recognition, leading to a stream of orders from acquaintances, relatives, and even strangers. Despite being self-taught, Katye's jewelry exudes simplicity and refinement, seamlessly transitioning from everyday casual to elegant evening wear. Her choice materials encompass sterling silver, 14-karat gold-fill, and an array of gemstones sourced globally.
