J.P. Waxington Candle Company

In 2018, April met Chad, a C.F. military veteran and discovered that they both shared a passion for creativity and making things for our friends and family. Chad shared his love for candle-making with me; he had been playing with wax for almost 15 years before we met.

At the end of his military career, Chad had and still struggles with both depression and physical injuries. He used candles to help him cope with his bad days and found that they played an essential role in his daily healing. We decided to share our combined passions with others and founded the J.P. Waxington Candle Company.

Their candles are made from all natural American grown soy and high quality fragrances infused with essential oils. They are hand poured in small batches in their studio in Pembroke, Ontario. Each candle, from wicking to pouring to packaging, is created with the utmost care and precision.

April and Chad also believe in making sustainable choices when it comes to packaging and
shipping materials whenever and where ever possible. They work with suppliers
who have the same values as they do to bring you a sustainable, safe, clean and
beautiful product that customers can be proud to have in their homes.
