Winter Sangria Infusion Jar
Shorter days and longer nights call for this perfect party pleaser. Whether hosting a gathering for a few or just for you, this infusion of crisp apples, tart cranberries, a hint of citrus and sweet cinnamon is sure to heat up any of life’s special moments.
Fill the cocktail infusion jar with the spirit of your choice and refrigerate. Let it infuse for 1-3 days, then strain and place liquid back in jar. Craft your cocktail using the recipe below or make up your own.
Getting Started: Add a bottle of red or white wine and 125 ml of liqueur to the jar. Refrigerate for 3 days. Shake well and strain into a serving pitcher. Add 375 ml cranberry juice and a can of ginger ale. Garnish with some chopped apples. Serve cold or heat it up or the perfect mulled wine.
Ingredients: Cranberry, apple, orange, lemon, cinnamon, clove, star anise, citrus sugar. Dry mix good for up to 1 year. Once infused, consume spirit within 30 days. Makes 8+ servings.
For a mocktail version of this cocktail kit, fill the jar with hot water. Let it cool in the fridge overnight. Pour over ice and add your mix of choice.
