Poutine Art Print
One day in 1957 Warwick Québec restauranteur Fernand LaChance was asked by a customer to add a bag of cheese curds to his fries to which he replied, "Ca va faire une maudite poutine." ("That's going to make a damn mess.")
Indeed, it was an odd request, but at that moment one of Canada's highest-caloric inventions was born. The gravy was a later addition, and today poutine is a popular delicacy that tops many a Canadian's guilty-pleasures lists.
This print measures 12.5" x 12.5" and comes unframed.
