XS Unified is committed to ethical business practices and economic responsibility at all levels of manufacturing. They work with factories that have WRAP Certification (Worldwide Responsible Accreditation Production), ensuring a commitment to uphold social and ethical business standards. Their products manufactured in Canada are made in a family-run, unionized factory with a tradition of making woolen socks for three generations.

As a small brand, they design all their products in house with sustainability in mind. Their wool line is manufactured using a process that avoids unnecessary waste and uses eco-friendly chemicals and dyes—all of which reduce the risk of negatively impacting on the environment. Their cap line is made using deadstock (overstock) fabric which is fabric already existing making it more energy efficient than producing new fabric and potentially keeping unwanted materials out of landfills.
