When Milk Jar was born in founder Holly Singer’s kitchen in November, 2016, it answered two of her desires: to bring a clean-burning, beautifully smelling candles to the local market, and to be a vehicle for giving back. 

Since 2017 Milk Jar has donated $1 from the sale of every candle and diffuser to non profits that support people with disabilities. Donations as of January 1st, 2022 now total $156,707.61! Milk Jar is also a role model for inclusive employment with 40% of the current staff living with a permanent disability.

Milk Jar remains locally manufactured, and a staple in Canadian apothecary with over 180 stockists across Canada.
